Our Mission
Asalam Aleikoum & Greetings to Non Muslims,
Back in the early 80's I was into the Straight Edge seen in Virginia after meeting a dude named George who was a D.J. at W.U.V.T. I Was a young teen all of 13 years old when I thought I was cool and asked George where I could get some buds. George told me " I aughta punch you in the face dude, I don't do drugs!" That really freaked me out, because he looked like a thrasher and growing up skating & surfing like I did , well smokin buds was just part of that lifestyle.
Unfortunately, I did not get to hang out to much with George and fell into the crappy sheeple enviorment that prevails in the USA today and back then.
Alhumdulilah (All Praise is to God) years ago I accepted a complete Deen (Religion) called Islam,that always did say no to drugs,alcohol,and pre-marital sex, but this is not the main theme of al-Islam. Worshiping Allah (God) alone with no partners or intercessors is, having no other allegiance accept for Allah's law alone that frees mankind from the oppression of religion to the freedom of Islam, and from the oppression of man made legal systems to the justice of Sharia (Islamic Law).
Inshallah (God Willing) we hope that this effort of establishing a network of Straight Edge Muslim & Non Muslim that wish to change this evil society we live in "By Any Means Necessary" The X in our logo not only stands for No Drugs,No Booze,No Smoking, and No Pre Marital Sex it stands for our lost identity as human beings and healthy free thinking people. Inshallah (God Willing) our X stands more closely to the struggle for social justice of Malcolm X more than it does of tattooing our selves or the outward appearance of rebellion.
